The R-410A vapor is heavier than air and displaces it if released in a confined space, causing suffocation and unconsciousness. Avoid high heat sources near R-410A vapor as they can produce toxic compounds.

When loading a system with R-410A must be done with great care to minimize the effects of fragmentation of its component refrigerants. The R-410A should be charged as liquid service valve in the suction pipe. The liquid flow must be controlled in the manifold with low pressure valve must ensure that the flow is sufficiently low to prevent ingress of liquid to the compressor.
Use copper tubing clean and dry. The ends of the pipe should be covered to keep moisture. The welding must be carried out by injecting nitrogen into the pipes.
